Musical Exploits

Paul plays domestically and internationally with all types of ensemble. He was the Principal and Solo trombone with the Royal Marines Association Concert Band which was under the direction of Captain David Cole  MVO.,MMus.,RM(Rtd), (now Major Tony Smallwood) and the Hampshire Constabulary Band, under the direction of Major Peter Curtis MBE, BMus(Hons), PGDip, LRSM, AMusTCL.,RM.

Sadly, relocation has meant his departure from these excellent bands.

He regularly plays with dance bands, swing bands, orchestras, studios, pit orchestras, concert bands and other groups who contact him. He also plays as an individual for weddings, dinners, parties and gatherings, using a wide range and popular selection of backing tracks, which enables him to feature the trombone in all of its styles.

(A small selection of these tracks are backing to the web pages you are looking at).

Paul very often plays at charity functions, rest homes, hospitals and hospices, as a solo artist, with the backing tracks mentioned to bring music to some of the people that are unable to make concerts or official venues. If you are interested in talking to Paul about such an event or charity function then please call. You will find the contact details on the photos page.

He is also an active teacher and mentor for tenor and bass trombone students of all grades and standards and enjoys bringing on the players of tomorrow as well as of those of today.

If Paul is already out and busy, please leave a message.
